I worked at ASG & Partners as a Junior Graphic Designer.
During my time at ASG I had the opportunity to work across a range of different stuff for a wide variety of clients.
A campaign I worked on with the recruitment team was the NI Youth Assembly. The brief was to create a social media campaign to recruit the 2023 intake of school children of a variety of ages and backgrounds to get involved with politics and have their voice heard to "Shape your future" you have to be involved in government.
The assets created were social posts, stories and Google display advertising for boys and girls to target them individually.

The campaign also had a budget for print media, it was decided to place these on bus routes, adshel and drivers back of doors to target school children who regularly take the bus to school.
Cheshire Ireland is a charity in the Republic of Ireland that helps disabled people live a better life, I worked on an annual report for 2022 and the certificate you see below, They wanted a more modern version of a certificate from over 50 years ago before they were rebranded a few years back and this is the design that went to print for people who have worked with Cheshire Ireland for over 60 years they will receive the red feather as a symbol of the appreciation the company has for their service in the community.
The feather in the bottom right corner is a digital foil along with the date. The 60 shapes represent the 60 years the person has spent with charity, and the name of the individual will be hand written by a calligrapher.
John J. Rice & Co Solicitors
A solicitors firm based in Belfast, that needed a brand refresh, PR publicity, and a new web design. I worked on the pitch presentation which was almost 100 pages, Placed designs in mockups, made amends throughout the document design, and designed what the website could potentially look like.
The previous website navigation was very unpredictable and hard to use, the text was very small and it was not mobile-friendly for users so we designed a responsive website that made the experience on phone or tablet much easier and allowed users to flow seamlessly through the website to access the information they needed.
I worked with the PR team on Good Relations Week September 2023, creating assets, presentations, social media graphics, and a poster competition, you can see the different print materials that were sent out to primary and secondary schools, Good Relations Week encourages a sense of community and local celebrity Tim McGarry was this year's star.
After the release of Photoshop Beta I've been testing out AI in design, mostly I've used the generative expland tools to fill the blanks and see what the AI tool came up with! Mostly it was just a fun experiment to test its capabilities but I've found myself using it more and more and it really has become a useful tool for designers!
The original image used in this classic car press ad cut off just below the "It's your passion" line, I used AI to expand the image behind, it expanded the hood of the vehicle and the garage behind, for this ad I also had to expand the right side. Of course, it wasn't always perfect the first time, and giving the AI prompts to use is sometimes difficult but taking parts from different layers I was able to piece together a great ad that doesn't look at all like it has been helped by AI.
I enjoy experimenting with AI and this is an example of time-saving and AI working to a designer's advantage! While working on this I also found out that the layers created by AI are responsive vector layers, they are scaleable and can be scaled up or down without any pixelization.
